Becky Martinson grew up in Pennsylvania and earned a degree in elementary education. She taught elementary school in Maryland and later in California. Marketing products to the education field in Texas was one step in Becky’s career, as well as corporate sales positions in California. During her 20 years in professional corporate sales, Becky took advantage of additional training and education and developed skills in marketing and negotiation. In 1998, Becky’s employer offered to relocate her from northern California to Idaho. Since her husband had just retired, they packed up all their worldly goods and headed to Meridian, Idaho.

Becky’s career in real estate began in Boise in 2001. She decided to leave the sales position that required so much travel to settle into a real estate career. With her successful background in teaching and sales, it has been a natural fit. In 2003, Becky and her husband moved to McCall in order to enjoy the fun and beauty of the area full time. Becky has continued her education and has recently achieved the GRI designation which involves intensive study of all aspects of real estate including real estate law and ethical standards.

Becky enjoys working with sellers to market their property and connecting with buyers to help them in a successful search. She has become adept at helping both buyers and sellers through any issues that arise in the escrow and closing process.

Becky on McCall: After living and working in five different states, I feel very fortunate to have “landed” in the McCall area. I love outdoor activities: running, hiking, fishing, golfing, skiing, just to name a few. Some of my favorite activities include going for a walk or run with my dog, hiking to a high mountain lake to fly fish, and going out to dinner at a local restaurant with friends. Natural outdoor beauty and exercise inspire me! My favorite season here is late spring/early summer: beautiful wildflowers, blue skies, and perfect 80 degree days. It doesn’t get any better than this!
